So I've seen a few articles on windows latest, most recently https://www.windowslatest.com/2020/02/18/reports-windows-10-update-data-deletion-bug/ basically saying it'll hide files in a temp folder, cause bsod and boot errors, etc. a lot of horror stories including even after uninstalling it the files and everything are completely gone leading to a clean system reinstall. my big questions are; Is it really that bad and widespread? Is there a workaround that doesn't involve going and moving the stuff from the temp file and or having to contact Microsoft? Finally, what happens if worse comes to worse and I have to reinstall windows 10, will doing this update just cause an endless cycle of this problem? because I can't pause updates forever and hope they either pull this one or fix it soon. It kinda sucks that there's been problem after problem with windows 10 updates lately.
