Question about a video card+computer

I want to play Guild Wars 2 on it.

On the website Can you run it, it said I have everything except the video card.

I want to be the XFX Radeon HD 5670 1GB DDR5 PCI Express (PCIe) DVI Video Card w/HDMI, DisplayPort & HDCP Support

you can use that card without any problems, and i've seen people play that game with integrated graphics just fine.

when you get the graphics card, just install it, boot the system and install the drivers with the disk

i've never bought anything through geeks.com ( i prefer newegg ), i would google their reputation and see what you come up with as far as reliability.

you shouldn't have any bottlenecking issues. see if you can get a demo of it and if you like the performance, get the game.

That card will work fine for your PC. I have no personal experience with geeks.com, but a friend bought a refurb'd laptop from them and it it's still working nicely. Likie the person above, I prefer Newegg for components.

Best card for a PC that has a small PSU is the HD 7750 1GB.

in the details it says a minimum of a 400watt psu, your current rig has a 300 watt, i'd stick with the 5670

I've bought things from Geeks before. They aren't a fly by night company if thats what you are worried about. They are ok and a good source for older parts if you want to avoid ebay.

That card would be perfect for that resolution. And no worries, plug it in, install the driver, and play. In fact, if you are using Win7, it will load a driver for it. But I recommend going with the one on the CD. Or better yet, download the latest driver from AMD.

if you want to get into the bigger cards, you need to upgrade your psu, they draw too much watts for small psu's....nvidia cards are a little better when it comes to consuming watts....but amd's are a little cheaper (price wise not performance)

i'd recommend just upgrading your psu, and getting the better card

That relates to 4.6A on the +12V rail(s). The card gets all its power from the PCIe slot which is designed to provide up to 75W of power.
