Question Question about files integrity over FTP (a noob user)

I'm a beginner in the ftp protocol, but I wonder when select file (or even whole share) and cancelling an operation, would be some data corrupted or not? Thanks.

I using FtpZilla for managing, and a hdd attached to a router

For example, I have files on my share, so here is situation: Listing - select - delete - confirmation window - cancel.

It is asking you to confirm that it should complete the operation.
You cancelled before it started.

No corruption.

Of course, there should be more than one copy of these files. This is called a backup.
Just in case.
