Hi guys,

Just bought a ASUS GeForce GTX 960 and i have a question about the 6 pin power connector. Sorry if its a dumb question but where can i find that 6 pin cable because my psu does not have one :/

Im new to these things and just wanted a little tutorial of where can i get a 6 pin connector and how to install it to my psu.

Im so sorry if its a dumb question [PLZ DONT HATE :'( ]

Every answer appreciated ^_^

The solution is to buy a PSU that supports your card. Or you could return your card and buy a 750Ti that doesn't require external power and hope your current PSU, which sounds like it's either ancient, crap, or both, can power it.

You can buy adapters that turn flat molex (the white or black 4 flat pin things) into what you need. They're very cheap.

One of these

Exactly what make/model is your psu?
You need about 430W.

If it is old or cheap and does not have a 6 pin connector, it may not have sufficient power regardless of its claimed wattage.

If the psu is of good quality, you can probably use a molex to 6 pin adapter.
Such an adapter often is included with the graphics card.
