So I got a monitor and the guy who sold me the monitor said that the size is 19'', a few days later I checked this site http://www.infobyip.com/detectdisplaysize.php and it was saying

"Your display diagonal is: 17.7"
Display dimensions (width x height): 15 x 9.4"

I'm not sure if this is right, my monitor model is Dell E1911c
On the internet it's saying that it's 19'', I'm kinda confused

This could be because one of 2 reasons. The first is in error of display size detector. It has no way of measuring your screen, but it makes a guess based on the amount of pixels it has and the settings with in your GPU driver or windows. This mean that if your settings are not set up perfectly for that website, it will be wrong. The other possiblility is that the 17.7 is correct and the extra .65 in. per side is the bezel. Either way, the only way to know for sure is to actually take out a ruler and measure it.

It's 19", but if you wnat to be really really really sure, get a ruler and measure it, no? :))))

I just measured it and it's not 48 cm, it's like 44 x 28.5 (horizontal x vertical), just measured it with a ruler
