Question about Pentium 2's

I have been scouring the net all night and can honestly say this is the first time i could not find information on something.

I would like to know the model numbers of unlocked pentium 2's. Some sites say the pentium 2 333 is unlocked, some say it is not. so i am guessing some of them are and some not. On intels site they say that 3 different 333's were made. (6 total [OEM & Non-OEM]}. I cant find a place where there is information on this. cuz if it is locked, i am not going to bother buying a motherboard for it. I'll just move on to another processor.

Well in my old computer behind me, I have a 333 Pentium2 and I can change the multiplier with the switch of a jumper (IE. unlocked).

One easy way to tell is to change your mulitplier if your mobo is capable. reduce muliplier and increase FSB.

If your looking for more life out of your older P2 system without buy all new hardware, chack this out.
