[SOLVED] question about static electricity

So as i have heard, its not good thing to stay on the carpet while assembling pc. For example if i remove the carpet, can i still sit on the chair (PU leather) at the wooden floor?

I've never had a problem with carpet. If overly concerned ground yourself to the case while assembling. If you never have a problem with static electricity. Like getting zapped when you touch a door handle or light switch. There isn't much cause for concern.
