Question about temps on my Amd athlon 750k

I wanted to check to make sure it wasnt running to hot with the stock cooler so i openned hwmonitor and let it sit at my desktop so i could get my idle temps which were 41. Then i opened prime95 and let that run for 20 minutes. hwmonitor says that my cpu was running at 79 c after 20 minutes. but then i wanted to check what my bios said the temps were since i have my bios warn me if it gets about 70C and i didnt get a warning noise or anything. it took about 10 seconds to exit everything and reset and enter my bios. My bios was saying my cpu was 47C. So im confused. on a stock cooler this cpu would not be 47c after being stress tested for 20 minutes. but i dont think it would be 79C as well. and i would rather trust my bios than anything. and it did have 10-15 seconds to get a little cool while it reset. so what do you think my temps are under 100% load cause im confused. sorry for typing a book, i just wanted to explain it well

Yeah i was gonna pick one up when i get paid next. Is the 212 evo or 212 plus better? btw i really like your build. wish i had the money right now for one as good.

I would go with the plus. Thanks man, its taken me a long time to get it where it is now. It originally cost £180 and ive been upgrading it for years, very proud of it now.

I really like it. i was planning on upgrading to a 8350 soon. ill be upgrading mine through the years aswell
