What is your budget? What is your location? Signal strength will depend on a couple of factors, like where your router is placed, if you have anything between your wireless router/access point and the USB driven adapter.

Perhaps we might be able to suggest something better. How about you pass on your system's specs like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.

The problem with aliexpress there are outright thieves selling stuff on the site and it is hard to tell a legitimate seller from a thief. Aliexpress does little to nothing about it until it gets extreme.

The less serious issue, at least for a buyer , is all the equipment that is being manufactured without paying the license fees. In these cases the manufacture that makes these boards for brands names just made a bunch more under the table.

The key thing is that they do not actually make the wifi chips they just put them on boards.

In any case what you look for, for a desktop machine, is physical size and a device that comes with a USB cable. Those extremely tiny devices that almost fit inside the USB jack are really designed for laptop or tablets. They favor small size and low battery usage over performance. These devices have lower power radio transmitters and the antenna are very tiny and if you put them in a back of a desktop all the metal of the motherboard and case blocks the signals.

These devices used to sell for like 99 cents on aliexpress before they changed the law related to customs mailed into the USA.

A large device with big antenna that sits on top of the PC case is the best option. No way to tell for sure what is inside the device until you get it and can look at the chips to see if they ripped you off when you buy on ali

AliExpress will cost you money when you find it doesn't work and can't return it

Go for pre owned

If you buy from AI good luck :rage:

1 antena IS good or bad compared 4 antenas
They are trying to pretend that the device can run 4x4 mimo. I have not seen a usb device that can run 4x4 mimo and even PCIE cards are very rare.

What they are doing is putting 2 antenna on the 2.4g radio and 2 antenna on the 5g radio. This is stupid since the 2 radios can share the same antenna.

This is one of the many deceptive things you find on aliexpress (other sites also but not as bad). This one is not a actual lie since they state the speeds the radios run and if you are tech savvy enough you know it is not running 4x4 mimo.

Lots and lots of deceptive stuff. A company selling wifi7 USB adapters but in the fine print it says it only runs on 2.4 and 5g. The whole reason wifi7 exists is to run on 6ghz.

There is no way to tell anything about what you buy from aliexpress it is all a gamble. In any case you also want a USB cable to move the device away from the back of your PC.

I liked the price of the model in post 13, do you have any reviews of it? Is it stable and has a strong signal even with obstacles like walls and a distance of 10 meters from the tplink wifi6 AX3000 router?

I saw many antennas 4 small ones x 1 big antenna but there is not much difference

The reviews are right on the site. wifi is always trial and error, no one knows the result until tested in that particular environment. Wall can be concrete, bricks, woods, drywall, etc. You will always get different result,
