Question Question with upgrade CPU

I have a Dell Studio 1535 (bought 2010) which came with Intel Core Duo T5850 CPU (2.16 GHz). I recently installed an used T7700 (2.4 GHz) CPU bought from ebay. This CPU supposed to be supported for this motherboard chipset. At 1st it run ok (surfing internet..), but after a few days, computer would shut off randomly a few minutes after started. It will restart right away, but then shut off again after few minutes... Is it the new (used) CPU is broken, or what can be the problems?? Thank you
