Questions about motherboards and ram.

For Christmas I am going to be getting the following bundle:

I am going to buy the ddr4 ram separately. I looked at the motherboard and it says says "Support for DDR4 2400/2133 MHz memory modules". Does this mean If I buy 2666Mhz it will underclock? Is the max speed ram I can have 2400Mhz?

Another question is if the max ram speed I can get is only 2400Mhz obviously i will buy that instead of 2666Mhz, but is there a big fps difference between 2400Mhz and 2666Mhz?

Identical you have a decent chance when mixed at separate times but not Guaranteed to.

Only if lucky enough to get them from the same batch.

I just done the maths and it should work out! I should have JUST enough to get the bundle + 16gb of 2400Mhz ram included with it. Thanks for the help everyone!

It will work with one, but if you get another 8GB it might not work in dual channel mode because they won't match.
Adding another 8GB stick and it works with the original stick then it will run dual channel mode.
