I have an old Dell Precision 390 and it has 2 80 GB hard drives and they're mirrored (RAID1). It's running windows xp right now
I'm wanting to split the two drives and partition them because I want one to have windows xp (for older games and such ) and i want to add windows 7 to get windows 10 (I got all the specs required to run it as far as i know).
I got a 64 GB flash drive to back my stuff up on.
Could I just unplug one drive and then plug it into another computer and wipe the drive and replug it back into this one?
I'd like to keep one hard drive with everything that's on it , but if there's no way around that and it would have to wipe both drives, I could see about getting another copy of windows xp.
Please help If you got more questions about my problem, ask away
perhaps i should've put this under Storage and not Windows XP
