Hi I am new to this LCDTV and hooking it up to computer thing as i have always used just a computer monitor for my daily needs.
But recently I have decided to get this monitor and hook it up to my computer

i was wondering how this works as i have never used a TV for my computer before.

my questions are:
will my 7800 gtx support this TV?
Would there likely be any special cables i would have to buy?
Also Does High-Defintion (HD) work on my computer or is that only for Television use.

P.S. I will be using this TV for gaming use as well as watching movies and such

thank you for taking your time to read this

I use Viewsonics 32" LCD tv for my setup and find that it works very, very well!! Your card should have come with the proper component video cables to easily hook it up.

to get the most out of this for your computer since it has an HDMI input you are gonna need HDMI to DVI cable for best signal and picute quality

Before I got my Dell 24" I used a Syntax Olevia 27" LCD TV for my computer. I loved it for the 2 years I used it but the higher resolution rules for me now.

BTW you will love how big everything is, cranking your neck from side to side trying to follow the action!
