Questions about Win XP

hello everyone.... can someone help me solve this few questions?i hope fellow forum posters would be glad to help me.
questions:
1)what's the difference between XP Home And XP Pro?(difference in gaming, entertainment, network and so on)
2)How many types of license does win xp have?
3)since vista is coming out, how long will win xp last?(in terms of updates and also general usage)

i've read about win xp in microsoft's website but i'm still curious about the few questions above.

To the average home user; games, multimedia, etc - should be no benefit to get Pro.

thx a lot.. i'm planning to buy win xp... that's why i'm finding info about it. one last thing... about the licenses, what are the terms and condition? example; which license can be use on more than 1 pc... probably can rule out the vlk license because it's for my own usage.

The Full can be used twice if one is a laptop. Not two desktops.

can you transfer win xp full version to another pc?example, you use win xp full version on an older pc then after buying a new one, can you use the same win xp version on the new pc?

If you're going to have them both running - no.

You may have to phone to activate the new one. Just tell them you changed mobo & cpu.
