Question Quick Question About My Low PERFORMANCE IN RUST

So I have a 1070 STRIX a RYZEN 6 1500 AND 16 GB OF RAM. My question to you is, is my CPU bottle necking my GPU and that causes the low performance because it is aggravating me

Are you using a 144 Hz monitor? Certainly the above combo should have very few issues with any games, barring perhaps expecting framerates just out of grasp with 144/165 Hz monitors, either CPU and/or GPU wise...

usually 90 to 80 then drops down to 60 and then to 50 and 40

16 GB 3000hz Ram
1 tb hdd
250 ssd
AOC G2460PF

I don't understand why I am gaining such low FPS if my CPU IS being recommended by Rust

Then what could it be because my FPS stays at 80 then dips at 70 and drops at 60 sometimes

dropping to 60fps is normal. Different areas in game are more and less taxing on hardware.
