[SOLVED] Quick Question: Can I use earphones to listen for error beeps during POST?

My newly built PC won't provide any video output and I'm trying to find the fault using POST.

I am using earphones to check for sounds as no speakers are installed.
I cannot hear anything through the earphones, however I am unsure if they are working as the system may lack required drivers or something idk.
There is literally nothing I could find about this online so I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

Please don't try and help troubleshoot the PC's problem - once I know this answer I will attempt to do the rest by myself as I want to take as little of your time as possible, I'm already super grateful for all the help you guys selflessly offer If I really do need help afterwards, I'll start a new topic with updated info anyway

Motherboard is ASUS PRIME B-250 plus in case that helps.

AFAIK, No.
Those beeps are produced by a little 'speaker' attached directly to the motherboard.

Ah, ok thanks. So I should be able to hear those beeps anyway assuming POST is running.
