Would you fellas go for the 9600XT 256/128 bit interface or the 9700 Pro 128/256 bit interface.

I just want to buy what's best for my gaming dollar.

Thx for any advice I get.

9700 Pro is faster. 256-bit is faster. 256MB is unecessary. So OF COURSE the 9700 Pro is the better card, probably by around 20%!

You would even recommend it over the 9800nonpro 256-bit? They have just about identical performance but the 9800np has enhanced shaders.

You can get it for under $140. Excellent price/performance.
