Have a client l, their QuickBooks POS v18 software all the sudden decided it didn't have a valid product number today. Even tho it's been working fine for 2-3 years now. Of course QuickBooks no longer supports POS at all so they told me to go pound salt. So here it is Thanksgiving Eve and this liquor store can't operate because they have no POS.
1. Does anyone have a product number and license they are no longer using for QuickBooks POS pro 18.
2. Is there any software that I can download and use even in trail mode till something better comes to get them up and going? Everything I find it either all new hardware or request a demo type deal and they are all closed.
I'd prefer to stick windows based. I built a beefy POS system less than 2 years ago for them.

I did see that. I don't get the error code tho and QuickBooks closes out so there is nothing you can do within the program. I tried repairing and not such luck. I revo uninstalled everything QuickBooks and reinstalled with no luck. I didn't try a couple of these things listed. I'll have to do that
I know a change out POS isn't a spur of the moment thing but if QuickBooks isn't going to work again what choice do I have?

You may also be in a situation where Intuit has taken the license servers out of service.

Now if you're looking to change things out then you might give Aloha POS a look. It's been over 20 years since I last touched it but they used to have "Table Service" for sitdown venues and "Quick Service" for take out type places.

That's what I'm afraid of QuickBooks won't admit to doing so but the definitely don't give a hoot.
My client is a liquor store. They sell booze and lottery tickets
