I recently got and installed a R5 3600, i have no experience with AMD products what so ever. In the BIOS im pretty sure i enabled auto boots, or something along those lines. My CPU is stuck at 3800 Mhz during gaming, and never boosts beyond that. The advertised speeds were 3.6/4.2 ghz so im really dissapointed right now.

My specs:
CPU: R5 3600 + stock cooler
MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming
GPU: 1060 3gb
PSU: Unknown 500W
Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz 16GB
Case: Corsair ICUE 220T RGB with 6 fans installed.

You are more likely to get higher all core boost with a 120-140mm tower CPU cooler.

PSU turned out to be dead, so using old PSU.

I dont know why, but cant enable monitering of CPU temp in MSI afterburner monitering service thing so dont really know. According to Core temp 1.15.1 its around 67-72C but not really sure.

What do you mean the PSU turned out dead? Also, if you have 67-72c at idle, the CPU cooler is either not on properly or you need a better CPU cooler like I previously said. 67C at idle is 20c higher than normal.

The PSU made a weird clicking noise when i tried to turn on my pc, switched the PSU out with my old PSU to check if the PSU was dead, turned out it was. Cause it worked after i switched. And those temps were under gaming/load.
