I saw that most of the people were complaining in the past that rayzen has some frame drops in games due the facts that it has many cores and im not sure about this system, shall i go with it or buy an i7 4790k

The more cores the better, you need cores not just for gaming but all the little OS stuff running in the background. The more cores you have the less bottleneck in the CPU therefore more FPS not less.....

Also more and more games are going 6 core so having 8 will keep you in the game longer without a further upgrade.

I would say the r7 1700x is a better choice because the 4790k is a dead end socket, you can't really upgrade it, with the 1700x you can upgrade to ryzen 3000 or even the next gen, however, if you're simply just gaming, go for a ryzen 5 3600, wait for the black friday sales and it'll be the same price as a 1700x & much better for gaming.

Also unless you're getting that gtx 980 for a really cheap price you're better off with a gtx 1070, a 1070 is faster than a 980 ti and you can pick one up for less than $200 used these days.

What's your total budget & are you only gaming? I can probably help you build a much better pc than what you have listed here

Ryzen loves fast Ram and works very well with dual channel.... get 8GB x 2 3000mhz or 3200mhz

Hey
I'll buy the build from a friend of mine with 300$ or 330$, and i got the gpu for 100$
I was wondering if i will have frame drops due the higher number of cores that the cpu has
Most of the games run on 4 cores and i am concerned that will not run properly with 8
