r7 250 on 300w

im considering buying a r7 250 gigabyte 2gb gpu but i dont know if it will work with a 300w oem psu. here are some specs of my pc

core 2 duo e7500 3ghz
nvidia 8400gs
4gb ram (maybe ddr2?)
160gb hdd

nah better off with a new decent psu as age catchs up with the oem psu i go with an upgrade of a 500watt psu incase u upgrade hardware in future
