Hi,
I have just bought an AMD Radeon R7 250 2GB DDR3. And I was just wondering if I would be able to run it on my 240W PSU without any issues.
My specs are:
i5-2400
16GB DDR3
I would only be playing games like CS:GO and Minecraft, most likely low graphic settings.
Thank you

The link doesn't work here.
It's a corsair CV450 Non-Modular. I was just thinking that if it didn't fit in my case, it would just be installed outside of my pc case, but with some sort of contact, to keep it grounded, like it being on the top of the pc. Since the PSU of my case is specifically made for it, I can't find the same PSU that is over 240W.

I saw some information on some other forum that, connecting a PSU that isn't of the same brand or isn't made for that mobo, it would end of frying it, but I don't see why.

I'd use the original psu first, for as long as it lasts, a replacement is cheap enough, has the right connectors and no degradation and fits inside the case. 240w is enough, that's not the issue. The issue being an ancient psu that has questionable reliability when pushed.

Yeah your right. Just a quick update, I ordered the PSU I included above yesterday (Corsair CV450 Non-Modular) and it came today, I installed everything but it doesn't fit in the case as mentioned. I installed all the power connectors in and just re-routed the cables out of the case and placed the PSU on top of the PC(In order for it to have some sort of grounding). Everything seems to be working fine. I have also secured it so there's no chance of it falling, as well as it being behind my monitor..

Lol. Well you aren't the first person to MacGyver a psu onto the outside of their pc because it didn't fit. Just tell me you secured it using a Philips head screwdriver and not just duct-tape 🤣

Last time I personally ran into that situation I used a Silverstone SFX psu. You can get those tiny psu's all the way upto 1000w now.
