R7 360 black screen and artifacts

I recently bought and installed a gigabyte R7 360 OC Edition and when I power on the computer I either get a blank screen after logo or it powers up normally and I get a bunch of artifacts ending with a complete black screen after about 1 minute, help?

Was wondering, is your monitor connected to your GPU or your motherboard? What GPU did you upgrade from, or did you not have one before?

It is connected to my GPU, before I did not have one, I had an APU (A8-5500)
