r9 270 bsod

I recently built a computer and am excited about it but once working with windows installed (64bit ultimate) and downloaded some gamez I blue screen. I installed the drivers then uninstalled again and again and I kept getting the screen. My ram is not at fault this Is purely GPU and drivers related and my minidump says so its and atiatikmdag.sys I will send who crashed dumps when I get home I have been searching and tinker ing for about 8 hrs and am at a loss. I'd also like to note I repositioned the card and get the blue screen tech info stop 0XA0000001. bsod happens instantly while loading a map on primal carnage and after a few minutes on planet side 2 at max 1080p

I suggest checking your temps with speedfan or the util that came with the mobo.

i installed and trie both stable and beta drivers from amd. i even tried the disk and still get bsod. i also thought that might be the case as well but i went into a pub and after 2 seconds the sound glitched out then i recieved a bsod.

this had seemed like the answer and had been mentioned in other forums but i get a bsod here as well.

I think there is an issue with the drivers and Windows 8. The beta notes now says it will no longer support window 8 indicate there could be an issue. However, i am using the 14,6 but i haven't had any problems with my MSI R9 270

Not sure but it seems to be popping up now for people with R9 270. It could the card as well.

im really stumped tried everything. ill keep ya guys posted. ive seen very old threads with this issue as well as new so idk. gonna try again

and then when i uninstall the driver i cant play any of my games because it says its missing a # of different components so im gonna install just the display driver and not ccc because people say this fixes it

okay finally i thought that i was screwed with this card but no im not ive found my solution at least all you have to do is not download ccc and your good it didnt install the atikmdag however theres another older one there that works fine finally
