Hey Guys,

Just to make it short.
I want to purchase a R9 280 Dual-X OC Sapphire Edition from Novatech:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/amdradeongraphicscards/amdr9280series/11230-00-20g.html

These are my current specs (including case):
i3 3220 3.3ghz
HD 7770 OC Sapphire
8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport (Dual Channel)
Corsair CX600 Modular PSU
P8H61 - MXUSB3 Motherboard MICROATX (Socket 1155)
Retail Intel Fan
1TB Hard Drive Hitachi
2TB Samsung

My case will be big enough but will it fit the motherboard? sites say compatibility is fine as well.
Lastly, is this R9 280? or 280x?

Thanks guys!

Solution
Its an 280, NOT the 280x.

The 280x is way more expensive and there is an extra category on the page for 280x`es.

The Motherboard has PCIe3.0 16x
Your PSU has 2 x 6Pin connectors.

i dont see why it should not work.

Maybe this card is a little overkill for that CPU.

Thanks for the help 😛 and yeah i've seen videos with a guy that has a 280x which is even more over kill. But I reckon it should pull through being the 280.
The size I just checked should be fine for my case.
