R9 290 crossfire audio stutter/crackle!

Hello i am getting horrible audio crackling whilst running games in xfire. Ive read up on this and it seems to be a vsync problem, because the problem does not occur with this option turned off or whilst playing in windowed mode

This bug was supposed to have been fixed back in 14.3 beta drives, how is it that this problem still exists!!

Try using DDU in safe mode to uninstall all video drivers http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html.

Then boot and install latest stable (non beta) drivers (14.9 at this time).

If it persists, try reinstalling motherboard audio drivers too.

P.S What method of connection are you using, HDMI ? Try a different method or another cable.
