I was wondering if i would be able to crossfire without psu upgrade. I can get another matching card really cheap from a buddy.

My hardware:
I7 4790k (stock clock)
Msi gaming5 mobo
Ssd
Hdd
V8 gts heatsink
7 case fans
Seasonic 650w gold psu
R9 380 4gb sapphire
8gb 1866 gskill sniper

Solution
It'd be nice you know your exact Seasonic unit (I'm assuming G Series) but yes it will be sufficient. Two R9 380s are 400W. Add in an overclocked CPU, looking at 525W + rest of system about 575W under stress for your system. It will work, and even if the PSU was not sufficient, it'll shut off from protection circuitry before any harm can be done. Aren't quality PSUs nice?
