R9 390 Performance Issues

The Radeon R9 390 Is a powerful card however I get horrible Fps drops, and Stutters, this is on Most games. I have to set graphics settings down to medium but still experience issues. My GPU runs of a core clock of 1060 on OC mode. I don't know if its a hardware issue or something else. Can someone suggest why I get this terrible performance?

Here are my specs:

I7-3770@3.40Ghz
Evga 850W +80 Gold
16GB ram

I have also updated to the latest Driver version and still see the same results.

Would it help if you completely removed your GPU drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then installed the latest one? If you haven't tried that, give it a go.

I had this card a couple of Weeks back and its always been like this. I just thought it was the drivers/games but know now that its different

What are the temperatures like on idle and load? Use HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner to determine.

Might have to RMA it. Obviously you are running 1080p?

I don't know if your talking about my CPU temps or Gpu temps so i will apply both.

Idle CPU- 40-45OC
Load-Cpu 45-65

Idle GPU- 60-65
Load GPU 65-70

And yes I do play at 1080

Temps seem normal. How is your performance without Anti-Aliasing enabled and also without V-Sync in games?
