[SOLVED] R9 390/x vs 1070/Ti

Hi,i need a good comparison of the 2.
Im replacing my r9 380 4gb for it.
Here are the prices in my local online shops:
-r9 390 8gb -70euros-80euros
-r9 390x 8gb - 80euros-90euros-100euros
-1070-180 euros
-1070Ti- 240euros-400euros

390/x is as you can see 2x cheaper so im just planning on replacing r9 380 4gb,for the 390/x or 1070/Ti until i save enough money for ps5/xbox series x

PC:
-i7 3770
-2x8gb ddr3 1333mhz
-lenovo ih61m
-chieftec elp-700s 700W
-1tb hdd
-128gb ssd

Solution
Do you think you need the extra frames that a 1070 offers compared to the r9 390(x)? If not, the answer is clear.

GTX 1070 is a semi future proof choice but as you are planning to buy a next gen console, the r9 390 could also be an valid option.

The r9 380x is hardly better than the r9 390. Only a ~10% performance boost, but then again the price between the two is almost the same.

So in conclusion, both are solid upgrade options depending on what titles you want to play and with what resolution.
