Not a bad article I have 3700+ S754 OC to 2.64ghz w/ 2 gigs of RAM and it scored 6666 on 3D Mark 06. Just bought a 4400+ and going to stick the video card and let u guys know how it is. I wonder why they lied about part 2 of the article or even explain why they wouldn't do it?

This was an excellent article for me, especially since I have a very similar system. Except my memory setup was much nicer to work with. My 7950GT(AGP)just recently died leaving me with my old 6600 (not even GT) which was not doing very well. Actually it sucked. After reading this article I decided to purchase the 3850. It is an excellent replacement for my dead 7950GT. I think the miss-matched memory really hurt the 3DMark06 scores in the articles test. I also used XP instead of Vista which may have also made a diffrence.
