Radeon HD 6850, Do I Really Need A 500W Supply?

Hi everyone, was thinking of upgrading my GPU to a Radeon HD 6850. I hear that you need a minimum of a 500W power supply. However, I don't have power hungry specs. Does the fact that I have only 4GB RAM and a Dual Core Processor mean that I can cope with my current 400W supply for the HD 6850. Thanks In Advance.

I have a similar system (with HD6850) running on 400watt quality PSU so if yours is quality you are fine

Okay, thanks very much for the quick reply! Thought about the 6770 but heard 6850 can cope with 1080 resolution better.
