Interesting though I wonder if a card like this provides any real advantage when gaming? So far my GTX 560 TI has handled everything I've thrown at it at max settings. With most games released right now having been designed for the PS3 and XBOX 360 I can't imagine too many even being capable of pushing a card like this.

AX7990 From Powercolor is $579.99 after rebate along with the 8 games. If you sold them and got decent amounts for it, you could end up with a 7990 for $450. Just saying.

really? at max settings? you must be playing not very demanding games, or find fps under 30 to be ok.

I was thinking about going with two 770s for multi-monitor gaming, but the 7990 has so many advantages:
-$350 cheaper
-8 Free games (!)
-Fixed driver issues
The only cons I can think of is:
-I heard it runs hot
-I'm an Intel fanboy 😀

Well to be honest with you I won't go back to AMD until they get that really cheap thing happening again. After my first NV card in about 10 years I'd say I won't be back right away much like you.

it's still over prices-a 7990 should b e about 1 and a half times as expensive as a 7970-nvidia pulled an interesting trick with it's Titan-a titan is equivalent to last generation 580-but thru marketing, they got all these idiots believing it's twice as good as a 680 -same with the 690- especially with the low ram count being double the price of a 680

i'd say click it and never look back. (assuming you've got the funds of course) the 7990 is an absolute steal with the new 13.8 drivers.
