Hey Right now i currently have a radeon x1950xtx coupled with these other parts:
C2d e7200
2gb pc2 6400 RAM (Crucial ballistix)
Dfi Lanparty x38 dk
650 watt psu

I am wondering if it would be smart to buy another radeon x1950xtx and crossfire it or just buy another videocard (Radeon 4850) The X1950xtx that i would get is about 60 bucks right now

Personally i would just get a 4850. It saves having to worry about crossfire profiles or game support. Its not a major worry but just possable issues that you wouldnt have with a single card.

I would just go fro the 4850...the performance will be a lot better and like mactronix said you don't have to worry about crossfire...untill you put a second 4850 in that is lol.

The 4850 is a good card indeed but 60.00 $ for 1950 XTX is pretty darn cheap. Beside, it's not like it's a crappy card even if it's not up to par with the latest GPUs. I would buy the 1950 and try it in crossfire, If you don't like the result, just sell both card and buy a new 4850 or 4870. I am pretty sure you'll be able to Ebay both card for than at 60$ each if not more.
