Radeon X800GTO Vs. X800RX - Graphics Cards !

Im thinking of buying a new Graphics card and im looking at the ATI Radeon X800GTO and the X800RX both on AGP as im using a AGP interface, all id like to know is which do you think is better.

Ive looked at many forums which is full of many people's views, Id also like to know what core/GPU is in the x800GTO.

All X800's are based on r4xx 16-pipeline GPUs

In the case of the GTOs, 4 pipelines are disabled, so the GTOs are 12-pipeline cards

The X800 RX is a rebadged X800 GT, which has 8 pipes disabled, so it's an 8-pipeline card.

The GTO is the clear victor between the two.
It's not even a contest, the GTO outclasses the hell out of the RX.

I recently got the X800GTO AGP listed at Newegg ... my previous Nvidia 6600GT 128 croaked. The ATI x800GTO is 256MB GDDR3 (fast) memory) and comes with 12 pipes enabled of the 16 pipes on the R430 GPU. This means that the "unused" 4 pipes can be unlocked via a BIOS flash of the GPU, thus you've got a super card for an AGP system.

If you do get a x800gto, make sure its the faster 256 model. The 128 models have slower clocked DDR1 memory, while the 256mb models have faster clocked DDR3. I also don't like the fact that when you buy this card, you have no idea what GPU your getting. I'd look elsewhere...
