Hi, would it be posible to RAID 0 two different SSD??

I have a Kingston SSD now 128 GB and a Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB , would it be posible to RAID 0 them? I would like to benefit from a nearly 1 GB/s speed

Yes but it won't be worth it because both halves of the RAID 0 array must be the same size. If you have two different size drives the array will be created using the size of the smallest drive and the rest of the larger drive will be ignored (wasted), so you will get 2x the size of the smallest drive regardless of how big the larger drive may be

It is possible yes, except you will be limited to the lowest speed/size in the raid. Meaning your 850 evo now shares the same specs as the 128gb Kingston.

In my opinion that would be a waste, but the option is still there.

Ok, thanks, I'm about to do a clean install of Windows 10 on my laptop and I'm thinking of taking off the Samsung 840 EVO 500 GB, could I do a RAID 0 with my 850 and 840?? They're both 500 GB, the only difference is the 850 is 20 MB/s faster in read and wirte, but I would be getting near or above 1 GB/s??
