Raid-1 port only one drive

Hello,
Is it possible to use one single drive in a SATARAID1-port? To actually use the port basically as a standard SATA?

If you are talking about one of the SATA connections on your motherboard, yes. It doesn't matter as long as the HDD is not marked as a RAID drive (in its boot sector) and part of a RAID volume.
