raid vs networking

i have just built a new system as raid 1
using 2x2tb sata drives

the operating system ( XPPRO SP3 ) is on a separate IDE drive ( 40gig )

if i make all the drive available to the network via sharing..they all show up on a remote computer ( on the home network )

if i try to access the raid drive i get the 'not accessible you might not have permission etc ' message..the 'C' drive opens no prob
any help would be gratefully appreciated

Set specific permissions for that computer on the drive.

Navigate to your raid disk (eg. d
Run this instead of their suggested command and everyone on the network will be able to access that drive.
cacls *.* /E /T /G everyone:f
