RAID0 two 6gb/s ssd or three 3gb/s ssd?

Basically I have bought three 840 ssd drives and have realised that motherboard only support two intel 6gb/s sata ports.

So I raid0'd two of these SSD's in the 6GB/s and left the other as a storage device.. but I already have a 500gb HDD.

So I was wondering if there was anyway to have a third SSD in 6gb/s or is the performance of three SSD in raid0 less than two in 6GB/s RAID 0?

My motherboard is an ASROCK Z77 extreme 4.

Any answers would be appreciated!

Best case scenario:

2x SSD 6gbps = 1,000 MB/sec
3x SSD 3gbps = 600 MB/sec

Real world performance figures are lower. I read an article recently (on Tom's, perhaps?) that downplayed the usefulness of Raid-0ed SSDs. Raid 0 wasn't worth it, the article explained, until a "queue depth of 4 or greater" was reached (level of IO demand).

toms just did an article showing raid ssds not to be any better than one ssd in most real world use

quite honestly i couldnt see much difference in real world use between my 3gbs and 6gbs ssds

so i would be tempted to put them all on 3gbs if you want to use all 3

and believe they also did a real world use test of 3gbs vs 6gbs but cant see that one
