[SOLVED] Ram died after i replaced my cmos battery.

Hello, today i had some problems with the bios so i figured i could replace the cmos battery. I opened my pc, took out the gpu, and the cmos battery. Then i replaced the cmos battery and put the gpu back in. I had to take the gpu out because the cmos battery was under the gpu. I tried to reboot my pc but got no display and no POST message. On the motherboard the «DRAM» light was now red. I replaced the ram and I got display again. I tried the bad ram again and still nothing?

Does anyone know how to fix this? The ram worked just fine earlier.

What do you mean you replace the battery? A new one or the same? What is your motherboard model and the ram kit?

I replaced it with a new battery.
Motherboard: Sabertooth fx990 r2.0
Ram: Corsair Vengance lp 8GB

Maybe try place your old battery again for just resetting the bios you dont need to replace the battery with a new one just take your current for 5-10 mins and then place it again. Try the ram to different slots if it is a 2x4 kit try leaving only the one stick.

Hey! The ram works now, out of nowhere. I probably installed it wrong.
