Question RAM Frequency on Speccy

Hello everyone!

I encountered something weird while checking my newly built system on Speccy. Here, it shows that my memory frequency is 298 - 299 Mhz which is very very low. If I look at Task Manager, it shows that my RAM frequency is 2400 Mhz. Now I know that since it is double data rate, the frequency shown on Speccy should be half ( so around 1200 Mhz). But 300Mhz is faaaar from 1200Mhz.

Anybody encountering this as well? Or what causes this?

use hwinfo to check your temp if they are on idle there to high and use cpu-z memory tab and check the speed then x2 is wil give the running speed for the ram .

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried using hwinfor and cpu-z, and they both show my memory speed to be ~1199 Mhz, which should be the case. I went over to the other tabs, and noticed that the iGPU clock speed is at 300 Mhz - which I think is what causes Speccy to mistakenly display this as my RAM speed.

that could be so you could keep those 2 software in system if anything goes on you could test .
