[SOLVED] ram mixing in amd cpu laptops

Hi

I have an acer aspire a515-43 4gb ddr4 2400 mhz with cas latency 17 ram ....with amd ryzen 5 3500 u cpu paired with vega 8 graphics...my motherboard manufacturer is PK and motherboard manufacturer is grumpy_pk now....i have ordered a 4gb ddr4 2666mhz with cas latency 19 so will my pc face any problems like BSOD

1-both ram specifications are very slightly different

2- i have heard somewhere that amd cpu laptops does not support the ram in my case

so i want to know if it will work in my case or not ...if yes will i be able to run in dual channel mode

I doubt they would work together well or at all, you need a 2x4GB kit.
Even if they are faster than 2400MHz they'll work at speed BIOS allow.
Go here and enter your laptop's model and see what Corsair recommends.
