Spec
Mobo: Biostar Z490T-Silver (2 ram slots)
Ram: ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D50 RGB 16GB (8GBX2) 3600MHz
Cpu: i5-10400f
Gpu: rtx3060 12gb igame ultra w oc
Bios: Latest version

So I tried using xmp profile in the bios, only got to 3200mhz. When I tried to go higher than that my pc went into bios and my ram got reset back into 2600+mhz (I forgot the exact num).
2nd thing I tried was using custom profile with auto timing. I put 3600mhz and when I checked on task manager, the ram speed managed to get to 3333mhz.

Your CPU officially supports memory up ti 2666MHz. so even 3200MHz is overclocking of it's internal memory controller...

Was the ram a kit of 2 or 2 separate sticks?
Do you have the latest bios?
