Couldnt find existing thread about this so.. here i am.

Hello, I have ASUS Prime X570-P / Ryzen 5 5600X / ASUS TUF 6800 XT / 32GB RAM (2x16)

RAM is Kingston Hyperx, model HP32D4U8D8HC-16XR, which runs on 3200Mhz even with XMP OFF on around CL21 not 100% sure, but with XMP ON it has only 1 profile with modified timings (CL18) but the speed is still same 3200Mhz and there is no another XMP profile except Profile#1.

When i disable XMP and set speed to 4000Mhz, CL automatically raise itself to maybe 25 26 cant remember of exact number.

What i did is: enabled XMP, so it has CL18 and then i manually set frequency (speed) to 4000Mhz and it works properly, while timings remain same and also on task manager it shows 4000Mhz.

QUESTION! Is this safe at all? i mean i just tried and it works, i maybe get 5% performance with this overclock(if we can call it overclock), but thats nothing if im risking my RAM to get burned lol..

To be honest my Call of Duty Warzone didnt work well, i had screen stuttering..

I dont know is it a fact or its just in my head, but since i opened one side of my case and increased RAM frequency, warzone works properly now, but that doesnt sound like something that can fix stuttering :D

Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina ✌

It's safe enough if it's stable, run memory tests at those settings to see. For 4000MHz also make sure that fCLK is set to 2000MHz for best performance.

Well i've played warzone many times for 5+ hours in a row and it uses 15-16gb RAM, 95+% gpu and 50-65% cpu so.. i guess problem would show up if it existed.. but thank you guys, i appreciate your replies, will try sometime memtest(y)(y)
