My friend is building a pc soon. He has gotten the following parts already:

CPU: i5-6600k: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA-_-DSA-_-CategoryPages-_-NA&gclid=Cj0KEQiAzZHEBRD0ivi9_pDzgYMBEiQAtvxt-P9CodfheAjIQpZdwL1iEYjxMX7-fKo3sV8dgvuQ564aAsAI8P8HAQ

Mobo: MSI Z270 Gaming M3: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130971

My friend is going to need RAM, PSU, and a Case.I want to know which RAM and PSU would be the best value for the money. My friend has a budget of 400 CAD so im sure it shouldn't be too hard. Also, If anyone has a recommendation for a glass panel mid tower let me know.

It's slightly over the budget but there's plenty of good quality also.

Put in 2x 8GB DDR4 RAM that can be set to run up to 3000 Mhz with Z-series MoBo. RAM has black heatsinks to match the MoBo theme...

Put in 2x 8GB DDR4 RAM that can be set to run up to 3000 Mhz with Z-series MoBo. RAM has black heatsinks to match the MoBo theme and it's also only 34mm tall to avoid any clearance issues with CPU air coolers.

For a case, picked a good quality Corsair Crystal series case with RGB fans.

And lastly, put in a good quality PSU from Seasonic. 80+ Gold efficiency, semi-modular and 5 years of warranty.

It will do. Though, i'm concerned about the sleeve bearing fan used in Silverstone SFX series PSU. PSU itself is good but the fan inside it may not last very long, especially when you mount the PSU in a such way where the fan sits horizontally.

I'd go with trusted Seasonic unit though. Seasonic uses fluid dynamic bearing fan inside it's G-550 that is quieter than sleeve bearing fan and will last far longer.

(All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic. Full specs in my sig.)
