So my ram was supposed to be running at 3200mhz, however it runs at 2133mhz. Im not very familiar with bios settings, however i saw an option that changed ram frequency so i tried putting that up to 3200mhz. But here's the thing that confuses me, when i had two sticks the ram was running fine at 3200mhz, but when i put all 4 in it started to crash on 3200mhz.

Thank you in advance.

PC specs:
Ryzen 2700x
4x8gb Corsair vengeance RGB 3200mhz
Asus Crosshair VII Hero
Asus Strix rtx 2070

Solution
Did you enable D.O.C.P?

Basically, it's a preconfigured overclocking profile that you 'load' in the BIOS

On an ASUS board, it's either on the landing page of the BiOS (potentially not in EZ mode), or under AI Tweaker.
No i havent changed that, i believe the options there are Auto, Manual and D.O.C.P? correct me if im wrong. So when i change that, is there anything else i'd have to do?

Correct. Assuming all goes well, enabling D.O.C.P will set your RAM to it's rated speed and just 'work'.

Unfortunately, it'll depend on the kit/compatibility. 4 DIMMs can be more difficult too.
Try it, see what happens. If it doesn't work, it should revert back and we'll have to go the manual route.

If it doesn't work, to the point the system just boot loops, remove your CMOS battery for 10 mins (with the power off!), wait and reinsert the battery - that'll reset the BIOS.

Memory can be finicky, but even if it's not 100% stable, you're not going to damage anything.

Leave it as is now, it looks fine. If you ever experience random instability you cannot explain, sanity check it by disabling DOCP and see if the issue persists.

For now though, looks good!
