[SOLVED] RAM Timings vs Clock Speed

Hi!
I'm buying some new RAM, but I'm looking for more information on the timings vs the clock speed of the RAM. Here are the three I'm comparing:

2666 with 16-17-17-36
2800 with 17-17-17-38
3000 with 18-18-18-38
How can I accurately compare them to find out which one is the best?

Depending on your CPU/motherboard, I'd get get some 3200 MHz CL16 or 3600 MHz CL18, as you can usually find them for pretty cheap. E.g.

I was hung on Mushkin as a while ago, I saw a post on here that many people called out as the best RAM you can get, and that they wouldn't even look for others. However I haven't seen many Mushkin chips on any top x lists. So is it really all that great, or are more well known brands better. In fact, where can I find the data for comparisons like these? Thanks, and sorry for all of the questions.

Everyone has their own opinions on who makes the best RAM, usually based on anecdotal evidence.

Those two kits aren't specific ones I've found that are the best. I just looked for ones that had the frequency/CL I wanted, good price, and from well known brands. Corsair and gskill are some of the biggest names in memory.
