Question Ram upgrade black screen

I have upgraded my ram in my Acer nitro 5 laptop from this;

To this;

From my novice perspective they are identical but I’m getting black screen, but working when I change out for the old ram…

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Ps. I’ve seen a few people say to wait out the black screen and it works but it just won’t!

When on the older stick of ram, did you make sure your laptop was on the latest BIOS version? As for your laptop, I would suggest that you disassemble the laptop, disconnect the stick of ram, disconnect the battery and press and hold down the power button on your laptop for 30seconds, this should drain any residual power. Reseat the new ram, then the battery, then power up the laptop.

I just updated the bios to the newest one, and disconnected the battery and held the power button to reset the cmos and still nothing, any more ideas by any chance?
