Hello,today i bought 2x8GB DDR4 3200mhz CL16 ram modules -FURY KF432C16BB/8
I combined this 2 sticks with 2x8 also Kingston but HyperX that i bought 2 years ago.-HX432C16FB3/8
Everything was good,i was able to set XMP 2.0 profile to 3200mhz/1.35v (16-18-18-36) for all 4 sticks.

After installing the 4 sticks of ram in CPUZ in Memory section now is Channel #: 2x64bit,but before was Channel #: Dual (with only 2 sticks of 8GB)
All four ram sticks are same brand Kingston and have same specs i mean timings and XMP profiles BUT in cpuz the old ram sticks that were already installed HX432C16FB3/8 are using SK Hynix and the new sticks FURY KF432C16BB/8 are using Micro Technology .

Old ram sticks HX432C16FB3/8 are installed in A2 and B2 RAM slot on motherboard and new FURY KF432C16BB/8 are installed in A1 and B1 slots.
In CPUZ is showing that SLOT 1 or A1 and SLOT 2 or A2 are populated with the new Fury memory and SLOT 3 or B1 and SLOT 4 or B2 are populated with old Hyper X that doesent make sense because they are not installed in that way.

Is my ram in running in Dual or single channel ?
And should i change the position of the ram sticks, put the new ones FURY in A1 and A2 slots and old ones Hyper X in B1 and B2 slots?

PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x
MB:Gigabyte B550M DS3H
32GB RAM (2X FURY KF432C16BB/8 + 2X HX432C16FB3/8 )
GPU: Sapphire RX570 Nitro +
PSU: DA700W Deepcool Bronze
M.2 Nvme Samsung PM961 256BG
Samsung 860EVO 500GB SSD
Kingston UV400 240GB SSD
2TB Seagate HDD
Windows 10 Pro x64

+ I had twice blue screen,ROM image is not loaded error on start and sometimes mouse freezing after this upgrade today.
Thanks for you time.

I think you have the sticks in the proper slots.
Don't worry about the way cpu-z labels the slots.
Mixing ram is a coin flip how well they will work together.
Do you have the proper bios?
2x64 is dual channel.

Thank you for replying.

Yes im have already done the latest bios update for this motherboard.
I thought that cpuz is accurate but maybe in this case its not.At least it run in dual channel.
Today i will do more tests.

From the cpu. We use slot #1-#4. The mobo vendor uses A1/A2/B1/B2. The cpu uses DIMM 3, DIMM 1, DIMM 4, DIMM 2. Software can use slot#0-#3.

So can't rely on the exact numbers half the time because it depends on exactly what layout is used. Asus even gas a bad habit of changing things up, instead of A1-B2 in order, it can use B1-A2 in order.

For you, install flip-flop sticks. Use 1 kit in 1st slot and 3rd slot, use the other kit in 2nd and 4th. That'll get you dual channel regardless of what the slot is called.

Eror code"0x0000221.than folowed by some beeping and booted in windows finally. If i continue to use it like this will i damage my PC?
Should i try XMP1 mode running at 3000mhz or just return this modules and buy 2x16GB instead.

Set Command Rate to 2T.
1T command rate is for 2 module configuration. With 4 modules this will create instability.
Im sorry that update late but could not find time to test the pc because of work.
System continued to crash on boot, first windows error, than followed with beeps from mobo and than rom error in bios..but i replaced the ram (old Hyper X in slot A1 and B1 and new Fury in slot A2 and B2) and somehow it fixed. Now CPUZ shows that in slot 1 there is the Hyper X module and in Slot 2 Fury module that doesent make sense again :p

Also i tried before to disable XMP and in windows the ram was running again in 3200mhz,even setting to XMP2 300MHz ram again was running on 3200mhz...

Did you set command rate to 2T ?
It was on set on Auto, now i set it on 1T and
Did you set command rate to 2T ?
I did remove CMOS battery to reset BIOS and swapped ram (new FURY in A1 and B1 slot and old Hyper X A2 and B2 slot)
In BIOS command rate was set to Auto,i set it on 1T,booting folowed by 2 short and 4 beeps that indicate 2-(Parity Circuit failure) and 4-(System timer failure). After 1 restart it will boot fine to windows.
Set it to 2T,boots with same beeps but CPUZ show that command rate is set to 1T not 2T like before with XMP disabled memory still runs 3200mhz.

Have to note that when the old Hyper x modules were in slot A1 and B1 i did not have error beeps, windows crash and mouse freezes.
Maybe the new memory is faulty,i will do memtest now only running the new 2X8 GB FURY memory and see if it get some error.
I will get update as soon as possible

I tested the ram memory with Windows Memory Diagnostic, all ram modules are good with no errors.I tested the 2 kits separately on every slot.

Setting the Command Rate in bios from Auto to 2T no problem but in windows CPUZ/Speccy/Aida64 shows that Command Rate is set to 1T.Same with the XMP mode even if i disable it (2400mhz default),ram kept running 3200mhz.
Windows blue screen on every start but i will get used to it i guess.

Here are some screenshots from Aida 64.

Thank you all for helping me understand more how ram works.
Never mixing ram sticks again even if they are same timing and brand.
