RAM UPgrade in fedora core 6

I have installed an extra 4GB RAM on the server but i cant make use of it. Bios shows 8GB RAM and when you view the free reports it still show 4GB, so where is my added 4GB RAM? can any one help me out here?

If the Bios shows 8GB RAM , than it is there , don't worry .
