Ram upgrade Lenovo U310 Touch

hey guys, i have a laptop that is 3yrs old and came with Windows 8, i5-3337u, and 4gb of Samsung ddr3L CL8-8-8-28. When I first got the laptop it was for "productive" use only (Word, Word Perfect, Adobe Pro X, etc.). Now I run Windows 10 and lately, when having chrome, windows explorer, Word and maybe one or two other programs open I am seeing ram usage get to 3.3-3.6gb and my machine is noticeably slow. Slower than it used to be. Additionally, I have begun to do some light gaming on it as well. I have a gaming PC so I am well aware of the laptops limits. I keep it to (Tera, LoL, Dota2, RED, stuff that isnt graphically intense. Even running these games though I hit ram usage of >3.3 and things get a little laggy. So I just ordered an 8gb stick of Team Elite ram running at 1600 with timings of CL11-11-11-28. Should I expect to see some revitalization in my poor little laptop?

turns out adding 4gb of RAM really did reinvigorate my laptop. apps are a bit more snappy and i can finally do some mid-level gaming without stutter, granted all graphics settings are on medium. thanks Tom's.
